Depart from your hotel, proceed to Grand Mosque. Saturday - Wednesday 0800am - 1100am only. (Ladies must cover their head with scarf, long sleeves and cover their shoulders). After grand Mosque drive through the seaside residential area of Qurum to the National Museum. There after proceed to the busting Fish Market on the Corniche, which sweeps the entire edge of Muscat Bay. Proceed to the Royal Al Alam Palace flanked by the 16th Century forts of Jalali and Mirani (photo stops).
Finally visit the famous Muttrah Souq, an Old World souq with plenty of choice of silverware, fabrics, perfume, local crafts, rugs, spices etc. Don't forget to use your bargaining skills; It is expected here.

Depart from your hotel to the Oasis city of Nizwa, which was once the capital of Julanda Dynasty in the 6th & 7th Century AD. Today it remains as the most popular tourist attraction with its historical buildings & imposing fort; Nizwa fort with its enormous round tower built in the 17th century built by Imam Sultan Bin Saif Al Ya'aruba to defend the route to the interior. The fort dominates the entire area, with the town having grown around the edifice. Access to the top is only by means of a narrow, twisting staircase barred by heavy wooden doors, studded with metal. From the top of the tower one can get a bird's eye view of the Nizwa city. Visit Nizwa souk which is renowned for its intricately hand-carved "Khanjar" and ornately designed silver Jewelry. Here on a Friday a unique goat and cattle auction is held. The atmosphere is not to be missed. From here proceed to the Jabrin Fort, en-route, stopping at Bahla for a photograph of the Bahla Fort, now a World Heritage Site. Arrive at Jabrin to visit the castle, the finest of Oman's castle built in the late 17th Century, which became a seat of Omani learning .This castle has extremely well planned layouts with room for the wali, the ladies room, the kitchen, the majlis etc. Most of the ceilings are decorated with beautiful paintings with Islamic motifs. Back to Muscat.

You will be met by a tour guide and Omani driver to embark on an adventurous day excursion to " Wadi Shaab" The tour along the coastline to Sur offers breathtaking glimpses of the blue waters of the Gulf of Oman offset by pristine white beaches .The adventure starts in Quriyat a very large fishing village between the lagoon & the sea. The port of Quriyat is still guarded by a watch tower dating back to 1635. Continue on the bumpy track, sometime touching the sea following a creek or overlooking superb white beaches hundreds of metres long. Arrive at Fins beach (white beach), you may stop for a photo before continuing on to” Wadi Shaab".
Shaab in arabic means “Ravine between cliffs’” shallow green pools & abundant shade give wadi shaab a perfect setting for a picnic. You will be served picnic lunch here. After lunch you may take a walk inside the wadi. Later return to your vehicles to drive back to Muscat arriving in the evening.

We continue to drive to the great desert of Oman Known as the "Wahiba Sands". Soon you will come face to face with the enormous desert and our experienced drivers drive you through the sand dunes to give you a thrill of dune driving. After having enjoyed the drives over the lovely dunes you could perhaps meet the Bedouin family to know more about their life style in the desert. Thereafter you will bid goodbye to the inhabitants of the desert to drive back to Muscat.
